Short video tease

Beyoncé does enjoy a dramatic reveal, and she’s at it again with a short video teasing what we can only surmise is a special announcement.

The six-second clip, which was posted to YouTube Wednesday, shows the singer ... and not much else. We get an intense stare, a glimpse of a hand outfitted in a glove that reminds us of the “Single Ladies” music video, and a command:

“4.4.2013. 9 a.m. EDT. #BeyHereNow.”

Long battle with cancer

Jane Nebel Henson — who was married to the late Muppets creator Jim Henson and was instrumental in the development of the world-famous puppets — died Tuesday morning, a representative for the Jim Henson Company said. She was 79.

Henson died at her home in Connecticut after a “long battle with cancer,” a written statement from the company said.

The two met in a puppetry class at the University of Maryland in 1954, the release said. Jane Henson was a performer, puppet designer and builder, and Jim Henson’s business partner.

“Finding Dory”

Talk of a “Finding Nemo” sequel has been flitting about the Web for a while, but Disney/Pixar made it official on Tuesday.

On its Facebook page, the company announced that the follow-up to their 2003 story will arrive in November 2015, with Andrew Stanton returning to direct.

Called “Finding Dory,” the focus will evidently be on one fish in particular: the humorously forgetful Regal Blue Tang named Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres.

Had three seizures in a row

There was so little information surrounding Lil Wayne’s hospitalization two weeks ago that at one point it seemed the rapper was either on his deathbed, or just resting up.

But on Thursday, the rapper called in to Los Angeles radio station Power 106 and explained that the seizure that landed him in the hospital was far from his first.
