Northrop Grumman shows off MQ-4C Triton above Palmdale skies

Part of the Navy’s Broad Area Maritime Surveillance program

PALMDALE, Calif. — Northrop Grumman took to the skies above Palmdale today with its latest high-flying drone built for the Navy.

The 90-minute test flight, part of the Navy’s MQ-4C Triton Broad Area Maritime Surveillance program, was declared a success.

The MQ-4C Triton is designed to stay aloft for up to 24 hours at elevations of more than 52,000 feet and is fitted with sensors that enables it to detect and classify different kinds of ships up to 2,000 miles away.

Victims range from their teens to 50-years-old

LANCASTER, Calif. — A registered sex offender accused of using a cellphone camera to capture video up hundreds of women’s skirts in Lancaster and elsewhere in Los Angeles County was in custody and facing prosecution, authorities said.

Erin Vines to serve as V.P.

Erin E. Vines, Ph.D., has been hired as Antelope Valley College (AVC) vice president of student services, effective June 17.

On a unanimous 5-0 vote, college district trustees recently chose Vines over three other finalists.

Vines currently serves as dean of counseling and special services at Solano Community College in Fairfield.
He has a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Southern California and a master’s from University of LaVerne.
