PALMDALE, Calif.—NASA officials will present a City of Palmdale flag that flew into space on the Space Shuttle Atlantis in May to municipal officials during the city’s Thursday Night on the Square program today at 6:30 p.m.

Afterward, the flag will be displayed at City Hall. Making the presentation will be Acting Director of Dryden’s Aircraft Operations Facility Steve Schmidt and former astronaut Vance Brand.

The square is located at Poncitlán Square (9th Street East between Ave. Q-9 and Avenue Q-10).
