Mother’s Day is coming up quickly and many are wondering how to spend an important day with their mothers, godmothers, grandmothers and other special women in their lives. In addition to ideas such as breakfast in bed, a day at the beach or a walk in the park, many restaurants and companies are hosting in-person events to celebrate Mother’s Day in unforgettable ways.
Delicious at the Dunbar is hosting a “Mother’s Day Bottomless Mimosa Brunch Buffet + Jazz on Sunday, May 12 from 10 a.m.-12p.m. Delicious at the Dunbar is located at 4229 S. Central Ave. in Los Angeles. Tickets are currently on sale on eventbrite and start at $65.00. Delicious at the Dunbar is known for southern cuisine with an Angeleno-Mexican twist.
The brunch will include a buffet and bottomless mimosa bar, complete with live jazz music. Delicious at the Dunbar is the second of two restaurants owned by Vidal and Adriana Cortes (a father/daughter duo). Their first restaurant is Delicious Southern Cuisine in South Los Angeles.
Their second restaurant is located on the second floor of the Dunbar Hotel, which was once a rich jazz and cultural hub of Los Angeles. Delicious at the Dunbar is an effort to revive the community’s rich history at the hotel and is here to stay.
